Astrology In Real Life

I have a friend who is involved or rather she is associated with a man who finds women everywhere he goes. He finds mother substitutes, specifically and it's just uncanny. He finds these women… or they find him and they pretty form a line, waiting to meet this man's needs.
And there is nothing you can do about something like this outside of observe it… and people do. The women don't really compete. Instead they remark to each other… “Look at how many mothers he has…” The man is in his 40's and anyway, I told her this story...
When my daughter was a baby… about 3 years old or so, she used to like to ride on those mechanical grocery store ponies. Around here, they cost a penny which I think it pretty cool. One cent and you can actually buy something worth having.
So one day, after paying for my groceries we headed over to the pony per our ritual and found the pony occupied. There was a little boy on the pony… dark haired, grinning and seriously over-fed. You know. This was a well-loved kid, if you know what I mean. A lot of people do this with their first baby, right? They spoil them. And this boy in particular was from a culture where boys are revered... girls not so much.
So anyway, this kid is on the pony and he's happy. And his mother is clapping for him… she enthusiastic about her son, to say the least. So they make quite a pair these two, and they the pony stops. Uh oh!
Kid starts screaming his head off. The mother looks at me and I keep a blank face. None of my business, right? She shrugs and puts another penny in the pony, making a point to focus on this little boy… her little prince, clapping and cooing and so forth. It's in her body language see. She turns slightly so my daughter and I and obliterated from her reality... some.
See, never mind my daughter and I are waiting… maybe our ice cream is melting, we are going to stand there and wait while these two have their… thing.
So the pony gallops and gallops and gallops and mother coos and coos and coos and the boy grins and beams and grins and then the pony stops.

Numerology and Music

Music is an art form that is inherently mathematical, an organization of sound and silence at its broadest level, it is coordinated vibration. There is however a more subjective response to this mathematics of the soul and music, in this sense, may be considered a personal response. Numerology may be able to help you discover what forms of music and musical instruments resonate best with your soul.
First we need to consider the ‘Birth Number’ or the ‘Birthday Number’. It is simply the number of the day you were born after being reduced by the Fadic addition method used in Numerology. For example: A person born on the 29th of a month will add the 2 and the 9 producing 11. The 1 and the 1 will now be added resulting in 2. Therefore anyone born on the 29th of any month will have a 2 birth number. If the number of the day of your birth is a single digit do nothing; if it is not, continue to add the individual numbers until they ‘reduce’ to a single digit.
NUMBER 1 PERSON
Born on the 1st, 10th, 19th, or 28th of any month. Energetic, creative music. Dynamic and original sounds. Rich tones such as brass. Musical instruments include drums, sax, and piano.
NUMBER 2 PERSON
Born on the 2nd, 11th, 20th, or 29th. Gentle sounds, romantic themes. Love songs. Soft music. Musical instruments include the human voice, harp, and French horn.
NUMBER 3 PERSON
Born on the 3rd, 12th, 21st, or 30th. Youthful music that has popular appeal. Dance music or music with strong social appeal. Musical instruments include the cello, violin, and trumpet.
NUMBER 4 PERSON
Born on the 4th, 13th, 22nd, or 31st. Electronic music. Unusual types of music with unusual rhythms. Traditional music appeals as well and is good for the nerves. Instruments include: bagpipes, rattles, and tuba.
NUMBER 5 PERSON
Born on the 5th, 14th, or 23rd. Lively, expressive music conducive to movement and expressive dance. Club music. However, the 5’s taste can be broad – from rock to opera. Instruments include the harpsichord, marimba, and piano.
NUMBER 6 PERSON

Born on the 6th, 15th, or 24th. Romantic music. Beautiful soundscapes. Passionate, emotionally expressive sounds. Harmony. Instruments include the voice, clarinet, and mandolin.
NUMBER 7 PERSON
Born on the 7th, 16th, or 25th. Inspirational music. Music with a mystical or mysterious nature. Usually soft, peaceful music. Instruments include the harp, lyre, piano, and trombone.
NUMBER 8 PERSON
Born on the 8th, 17th, or 26th. Music of a deep nature and historical importance. Blues. Jazz. Religious music of any kind. Musical instruments include the guitar, trumpet, clarinet, flute, and chimes.
NUMBER 9 PERSON
Born on the 9th, 18th, or 27th. Rich, energetic sounds. Bold music. Think Tijuana Brass. Themes of determination and strength. Instruments include bongos, the organ, bass, and drums.
An excellent way to put this information to use is to find music that harmonizes with you and take a ‘music bath’. A few times a week find a comfortable position, relax, and close your eyes and begin. YOU CAN NOT DO THIS WITH HEADPHONES! You must bathe in the vibrations. Allow them to course over your body and luxuriate in the sensuality of the moment. As Beethoven said: “Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life.”

Would Jesus Have Downloaded Christmas Carols?

Would Jesus Have Downloaded Christmas Carols?
New Technology Melds with Ancient History
This holiday season, the Web will have an abundance of free Christmas music available for downloading. This includes many different types of songs written for the mid-winter celebration. Christmas songs that are traditional, but do not have religious content, are called carols. Some of the more popular Christmas carols include "Deck the Halls" and. "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." Songs like "O Come All Ye Faithful" that do express religious sentiments are known as hymns. There are also songs written for movies that do not have specific Christmas themes, but are thought of as Christmas songs because they are associated with the mid-winter festivities. These include songs like "White Christmas" and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer." Of late, there are even songs that parody the traditional Christmas music that has become so well-known to all of us.
Music has been a major feature of the Christmas holiday since ancient times. According to Christmas song historian Bill Petro, the first chants, litanies, and hymns were in Latin and too theological for popular use. The 13th century found the rise of the carol written in the vernacular under the influence of Francis of Assisi. The word carol comes from the Greek word choraulein. A choraulein was an ancient circle dance performed to flute music. In the Middle Ages, the English combined circle dances with singing and called them carols. Later, the word carol came to mean a song in which a religious topic was treated in a style that was familiar or festive. From Italy, it passed to France and Germany, and later to England, everywhere retaining its simplicity, fervor, and mirthfulness. Music in itself has become one of the greatest tributes to Christmas, and includes some of the noblest compositions of the great musicians.
"Interestingly enough," reports Petro, "during the British Commonwealth government under Cromwell, the British Parliament prohibited the practice of singing Christmas carols as pagan and sinful. Its pagan roots in the 13th century and its overly "democratic" 14th century influences made it an unsuitable activity for the general public and it was to be mandated so, by the Commonwealth government of 1647." Puritans at this time disapproved as well of the celebration of Christmas, according to Petro, and did not close shop on that day, but continued to work through December 25. During this brief interlude in English history, during which there was no monarch, this activity by the populace was to remain illegal. But this activity was prohibited only as long as the Commonwealth survived, and in 1660, when Charles II restored the Stuarts to the throne, the public was once again able to practice the singing of Christmas carols.
Today, many people wonder whether "Christmas" is truly a religious celebration honoring the birth of Christ or a commercial celebration of winter. In truth, it is a mixture of both. Clearly, new technology allows more people than ever before to enjoy the Christmas season. If Christ and the Apostles were alive today, they probably would be downloading Christmas MP3's.

Who doesn't want to be healthy? I've been fascinated with health ever since I can remember. My grandmother's best friend was bedridden with rheumatoid arthritis since she was in her early thirties. My own mother had chronic mental and physical illnesses (some would call it hypochondria). Seeing these people suffer set me on my path as a healer. In my family, it was not an easy thing to be interested in good health. Believe it or not, being interested in health opened me to ridicule. Adele Davis, a pioneer in the health food community, was just beginning to write books like, "Let's Eat Right to Keep Fit". My father called her a "health food nut" and downed another piece of rare roast beef, two martinis, French fries and a Caesar salad, chased with a chain of PallMallsMy grandparents lived past 95 in excellent health. My parents died at 58 and 60. They cut more than 35 years off those wonderful genes with their lifestyle. These are the principles I advocate for a lifetime of good health.1.It's your health. 2.Your physical health and your mental health are the same thing. 3.Be yourself.Let me explain each one with some examples.#1 It's your health.Ladies and gentlemen, it is your health. It's not the doctor's health or the government's health. It's your health and it's your responsibility to keep yourself healthy. The Greeks had a wonderful saying about this, "After 30, every man is his own doctor." If, by the time you're 30, you don't understand your own body and what makes it work, there is no power on earth that can save you from yourself.

•If there are some things that run in your family you'd like to change, learn about DNA reprogramming and healing with The Sunhealer athttp://www.sunhealer.com •Jesus is one of many great healers through the ages. The first question Jesus asked a sick person was, "Do you want to be healed?" Ask yourself this question. Listen to your answer.•Food is preventive medicine or slow poison. Please learn about your own body; take the time to educate yourself about nutrition; and avoid white sugar and white flour as if your life depended on it. •Know your stress points. When you're under stress, what's the first thing in your body to "go"? Is it your stomach, headaches, your back? From now on, this will be your flagship. Your body knows before you do, it's time to make a change.#2 Your physical health and your mental health are the same thing. This principle is nifty for self healing because you can come at a problem either through the mind or through the body. •If you're feeling depressed, you can take Yoga and by putting your body into positions of self confidence and life force energy, your spirits will lift. •If your stomach is tied up in knots all the time and you have chronic anxiety, you can raise in your consciousness the idea of self acceptance and the concept that you are safe and wanted in the world and these symptoms will disappear. •You can make changes in the physical world, such as leaving an abusive spouse and your mental and physical health will improve.•The easiest and fundamental connection between the mind (mental health) and body (physical health) is the breath. When we breath consciously, no negative emotion can be present. Simple but profound, this is one of the great secrets of meditation.#3 Be yourself. Trying to be something you're not is life-threatening. Most people will interpret the statement "trying to be something you're not" negatively. What we mean is, trying to be a different type of person than you naturally are."Type" is defined according to the popular concepts of typing personality that we find in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(r) or in Keirsey Temperament Theory. If you wonder what your "type" is, visithttp://www.keirsey.com for a free self test. Here are some examples from real life. •If you love solitude and the great outdoors, don't get yourself stationed on a submarine. •If you love confrontation, competition and running the show don't be a teacher or case worker. •If you love children, soft moments, nurturing and intimacy don't try being a litigation attorney. Why do we try to be something we aren't? It happens in a context of trying to please others - parents, teachers, religious leaders, spouses. According to Dr. Katherine Benziger (www.benziger.org) the short term cost of trying to be something you're not is "increased irritability, headaches and difficulty in mastering a new task." The long term results include "exhaustion, depression, lack of joy, a homeostatic imbalance involving oxygen or the pre-mature aging of the brain and a vulnerability to illness."I have clients with chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, insomnia, cancer, tumors, esophagitis, migraines, bleeding ulcers, chronic diarrhea, obesity, manic-depressive disorders, deep scarring acne, strokes, apnia, and drinking problems who still will not consider making a lifestyle change. Could these people be healed? Yes, certainly. When they begin to shift over into who they really are, the symptoms will disappear, sometimes dramatically. If this solution is too simple, please ask yourself why things have to be so complicated in your life.My special message today is for introverts. Our definition of ourselves has been controlled for the most part by people who don't understand us because the majority of people in the world, 70%, are extroverts. We're in the process of reclaiming our right to be exactly the way we are. Introverts need to spend at least half their time alone for good mental health. This has nothing to do with our love of people. We give energy to others and need time alone to fill up again.Introverts, please be honest about your needs for time alone and other territorial issues. You can find some great resources for introverts at my websitehttp://www.theintrovertzcoach.com .For all people wanting to cut down on their stress, one of the greatest services I can render is an astrology reading. Astrology is one of the few places you can go in the world where you will find someone holding up a clear mirror to who you really are. Astrology is a paradigm that gives each person permission to be exactly who they are. We get as close as we can to the "god's eye view" of you. Astrologers recognize the absolute uniqueness of each individual. When you see an astrologer, we will say to you, "Let me tell you about the wonderful person I see here in your astrology chart…." We are positive and supportive people. If you have drifted so far from yourself, you can't find your way back home, give an astrologer a call. We have the map.All change starts within. I hope I've given you some great things to think about on your road to good health. Please remember these three principles …•#1 It is your health. •#2 Your physical health and your mental health are the same thing. •#3 Be yourself. Articles Source - Free Articles
